The Organizing Committee of APCCAS 2026 invites proposals for Special Sessions to be held during the conference. Special Sessions aim to complement the regular technical program by highlighting emerging topics or innovative applications of established methodologies in the broad area of Circuits and Systems. Proposals should address timely, compelling, and high-impact areas of research, especially those that strengthen academic–industrial collaboration and regional cooperation within the Asia-Pacific community. Proposals in all areas of Circuits and Systems (CAS) are welcome.
Inter-society special session proposals jointly organized with other IEEE Societies beyond the CAS Society are particularly encouraged, as they help foster interdisciplinary collaboration and broaden the impact of the conference.
All papers in Special Sessions will undergo the same peer-review process as regular submissions.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Proposals should include the following information (maximum 3 pages):
Title and Abstract
Provide a title and a concise abstract clearly describing the session’s topic, scope, and expected impact.
Rationale
Explain why the topic is novel and timely, its relevance to the APCCAS community, and its expected contribution to the conference program.
Proposed Papers and Speakers
Provide a list of proposed papers, including titles, authors, and affiliations.
A standard special session is expected to include 4 or 5 papers.
In exceptional cases (e.g., invited industrial speakers or extended talks), proposals with fewer papers or double sessions may be considered upon prior consultation.

The involvement of industry speakers is strongly encouraged.
